Well. You see. The reason they played Alabama a & m last year and Alabama southern fork is that Georgia and OHio state backed out of their games w ucla because they were scared. So the two patsies were all ucla could find. So days the bru hens
Ucla does have a theme. They move states each year to saturate their exposure to patsies. Last year it was Alabama. State and southern. This year it's Carolina. Can't wait till next year when they play south Illinois and Springfield U
I agree, that schedule is shit. It is very hard to get excited until PAC play, but what is anyone to do? It was supposed to be Michigan and SDSU and one of the others, but Harbaugh was a huge, hairy pussy and wanted 7 home games a year, so they flaked. Not much UCLA could have done with as short of notice as they had. I would think that with the original schedule it is comparible to USC's OOC this season, maybe Nevada is a bit better than whatever UCLA managed to grab, but SJS and SDSU are about even, as is ND and Michigan, at least in the big picture. UCLA can bitch about attendance all they want, but the games are against low level opponents and the game day vibe at the Rose Bowl has really become a bore. It is wilder at a Ren Fair. I think if you bring a can of SPAM or pumpkin for Maui you get a free ticket into the game. They were going to do that at Oregon and Arizona but they didn't because the fans would have just thrown the cans at opposing fans.
Doesn't help that students aren't on campus until after the ooc games have been played. It's too bad UCLA can't have a small on campus stadium for 40-45K capacity.
Ok, so overall schedule. Who has the tougher schedule, USC or ucla? I see the SJ and Nevada games pictured, but isn't the strength of schedule based on overall schedule? Common, you're not an Oregon fan.... UCLA's schedule is WEAK. All of the CFB publications can't be wrong, can they?
not what I was expecting
A person can't have a legacy until they'e done doing what they were doing.

Yea I agree, why go watch Coastal Carolina with one of the top QB's in the country Grayson McCall, when you got real powerhouse teams coming to town.
And for empty stadiums of course.....
