The fallacy of your perception, Brad: There are way more Oregon fans in So Cal than there are USC fans in Eugene (or in Portland or anywhere in Oregon). So you're likely to get a much more skewed view of things comparing the fans at those two locations. It's not apples-to-apples.
And, yes, there have been PLENTY of rude/belligerent/obnoxious USC fans at games I've attended at USC....even long before Oregon football actually had a pulse. Sure, most are gang-bangers and drunken students (much like at Oregon where it's the trailer-park trash and students), but others are what looked otherwise like reputable Trojan alumni. Like our good friend Ripley says, "Believe it or Not"
I've always agreed that unfortunately there are some bad Oregon fans at Autzen. No excuses for them. For some reason you and others on here feel all USC fans are choirboys. lol....they most assuredly are not....
Hey, humans are human. I'm not sure why your cannot accept that and why it inhibits your ability to be a Trojan fan because of a few bad apples? How a few others behave at Autzen certainly has no effect on my quack fandom.
Yeah, C. Henry was a long shot even though he plays for Mater Dei. He transfered from Ohio as a Jr. Ohio St was his dream school since a kid. Deep roots for Ohio St. Dat's OK, USC will be fine W/O him. USC will have a very good 2026 WR class.
2026 Class.
Trent Mosley, Santa Margarita HS, Ca, 4*, 5-11, 175, 10.8 100 m.
Vance Spafford, Mission Viejo HS, Ca 4*, 5-11, 180, 10.7 100 m. UGA commit, but a flip to USC is projected.
JaMyron Baker, Sierra Canyon HS, Ca, 3*, 6-0, 180, 10.8 100 m
Keeyan Chapman, Alabama, 4*, 6-3, 185, 10.8 100 m. 90% lean to USC.
In the Mix.
Kuae Akana, Utah, 3*, 6-3, 195
Jamers Scott, Texas, 6-5, 200, 58% lean to USC
Kohen Brown, Texas, 6-0, 180, 40% lean to USC, 10.7 100 m
2027 class.
Rah Zo Edwards, Grant Union HS, Sacramento, 4*, 6-6, 215, listed as a TE, but I see him as a Big Wr. Post Soph season = All Area All Star, All League. Seen him play 2 times. In those games, 150 yds, 180 yds, 6 TD's, 4 rec. gains of 40+ yds. Gotta get this kid. Athletic, plays basketball, A+ jumping ability, Strong hands, catches everything, very physical dude, fast est 100 m = 11.2 dat's fast for someone his size. He reminds me of USC great, Drake London.
Awh Bruddah, not news I want to hear. Shoot thought we were near flipping him? Dam, we need Spafford, he is very fast, tuff as nails, sure hands. I will keep my fingers cross and hope GM Bowden has a magic trick and get this A+ Wr. Gotta shut out UGA and all the other schools who goes after our top players.
Brown is a good get. We need Big Wr's. Must land Chapman 6-3 or Scott 6-5. Cheers.
Up against McLauren, Wilson, JSN, Olave and Harrison Jr. Egbuka will be solid and Jeremiah smith is a future star. Not even a discussion is it?
This list is since 2020. I’m talking today, OSU has the track record and the coaching. My point wasn’t which Program has produced the most quality nfl WRs.
Kinda of hard to flip a kid that really was a mercenary and not really a local IMHO from a school he always wanted to play for and has just won an NC as well has produced some great CFB receivers..
I wasn’t around in the 50s and 60s and didn’t follow sports until I was old enough to actually play and understand the games. Can’t say I know enough or care about Wooden or ucla hoops.
“USC football in 50, 60 and 70s equal ucla basketball wooden years.”
So are you saying USC cheated those 3 decades? If so, did any other schools cheat? I happen to know a few alumni from various schools around the country, Auburn and tOSU to name a few. They’re telling me their player received illegal benefits going back many years. Also played with guys who later played football at 2 pac12 school, neither were Ore or USC. Guess what, I have first hand info those schools cheated big time. My one friend received $$$$$ before he even signed with that school. Funny how everything doesn’t make the news. Wonder if those smaller cities are able to hide it better as well.
Guy I borrowed the money from to start my business had a job at usc. While he ran track. It was to go to the park next to bovard. Then in the hose. And water the grass and plants. For about 15 minutes. Think he did it twice a week. He got paid $15. Which at the time for that work was extraordinary. I’m guessing this was the early to mid 50s.
Exactly, and from what I heard that was the most comment method of “cheating” back then. My buddy had the same set up at UDUB except he said he showed up to work only a handful of times. Not bashing UW since I heard the same story directly from players who played at a number of other schools. Ask fans of any school across the nation and they’ll say otherwise 😂

I guess Ohio State asked him to stop messing around.
