I have posted numerous times it appeared Stroud just couldn't make quick reads or progressions this kind leans that way IMHO
AdChoices Yardbarker Follow Top QB prospect could fall in draft due to reported concerns over cognitive test Story by Clark Dalton, Yardbarker • 2h ago
C.J. Stroud's stock could fall shortly before the draft on April 27-29 after a low score on a cognitive test. C.J. Stroud.© Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK Bob McGinn, who's covered the NFL Draft for nearly 40 years, reported that the Ohio State QB scored in the 18th percentile on the S2 cognition test, well below the benchmark of 80. Other potential first-round QBs scored much higher. Alabama's Bryce Young scored in the 98th percentile, Kentucky's Will Levis scored in the 93rd percentile and Florida's Anthony Richardson scored in the 79th percentile. The S2 test differs from the Wonderlic, a 50-question test the NFL implemented to examine potential job performance. Per The Athletic's Matt Barrows, the S2 is a 40-45 minute test on a specially designed laptop and notepad that records reactions in two milliseconds, faster than the blink of an eye (100-150 milliseconds). Since reaction time is an essential quality for an NFL QB, the test has accurately predicted the success of some star QBs. According to Barrows, Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) and Josh Allen (Bills) scored within the 90th percentile. Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who agreed to reveal his S2 results, scored in the 97th percentile
If I scored in the 97th percentile on that I’d allow it to be released too hahahaha
Canada bound
dropping like a rock? Well CJ is dumb as a rock
While jury is out on Justin Fields, I'm not sold on Ohio St QB's in general. Troy Smith, Terrelle Pryor, Cardale Jones, Barrett etc.
Let's not forget Tomczak, for good measure.
Let me know when the next, er FIRST ohio state quarterback has a great NFL career.
Before you say SC is the same. Carson Palmer was a very successful NFL quarterback that was on shitty teams. And yes, like Cade McNown, injuries happen.
Caleb looks to be a great NFL quarterback, but like Carson, all it takes is one hit.
That choose not to date men Troy Aikman was never as good as carson , but he was on a great team with great coaching. No one (still two words) will EVER even approach Aikman's grace, poise, perfection at handing off a football. absolutely fawking PERFECT.
Still Ohio State has no one that has EVER been a successful NFL quarterback.
Only close to an exception is Burrow, but no he doesn't count either.
Apparently Stroud is dumb as a sack of hammers. no surprise there. sc
