Who was the DC of the 2nd ranked defense in the country in 2021? A national championship caliber defense by the way.

Clemson hasn't been a top 20 defense in scoring since then.

If Venables' was only DC in 2021 your argument would have a little merit but then again you would have to ignore the defense giving up nearly a touchdown more per game from 2021 to 2022 and you would have to ignore the Duke embarrassment. You're not interested in one game but you sure would be if Clemson shut out Duke. Lol.

Then why did you start this argument? If a usc poster had posted the same thing, you wouldn't have argued. It has nothing to do with usc or Riley. That's just in your head. If someone thinks Venables did a great job at Clemson, it's not a slight on Riley or usc. It's ok to recognize when someone does a good job.
