He's a hire like most other hires. Get a guy thta can recruit, scheme exciting football, and put some bums in the empty seats in the venue. Get us in a real football conference. So far so good except schemes and fundamentaaching. Great coachspeak!
SOme O tips from a D Guy, Moi. Our 5 Oline can't block 5 or 6 guys comong from sundry spots with mixed folk coming. Keep another blocker with feet on all plays. Roll Caleb side to side to side to buy a second or two and maybe throw over his front foot and follow thru for accuracy. You now have 3 guys running routes. Mayhap one of them comes back and helps Caleb with a target. The last guy, RB or equivalent, goes with the empty blitz spot and finds a hole for the dump pass.. We require a semi-max protect plan. Our guys are overwhelmed by blitzes and need help. Can we put another TE or equivalent as RB for real max protect while we try to go deep?
Wait till the Big10 comes calling. You ain't seen NOTHING yet. The curb stomping and rag dolling will become a monthly event. $C is gonna eat mucho merde.
Absolutely he was. Embarrassing wins and losses are part of modern football. He could have punted when dkwn 38-20 and I'm surprised he didn't. Instead he kept throwing. So you end up with big wins. Big losses.
He's 17-4. Boo hoo Trojans. That's a great rebuild and no one is feeling sorry for you
Go read my pre game write up. No I didn't predict who would go to the popcorn stand and when.
But I wrote it would be a 3 TD blowout or worse.
That USC would be held under 30
That Notre Dame would score 49 and it could end up in the 50's
In fact, if you read my write up it was probably the most accurate prediction of what WOULD happen in the entire country. No bookie or oddsmaker predicted that. No ND fan did.
So I am sure not the one to be complaining at that I am not seeing things accurately. I absolutely am.
3 weeks ago everyone said I was a hater for not genuflecting before Caleb. I saw a problem and I was right. Now everyone sees it. There are solutions. Let's see if they address them.
Because you know what? ND (and ASU/UA/CU to lesser degrees) just showed how to shut down the USC offense. And tonight Caleb refused to adapt or do anything about it.

Riley is still building his program and is far from finished

maybe usc will tarmack him...
And name Grinch the new HC. That would be totally the USC thing to do.
Great point. If ucla beats us, he gets the hat trick.
