CLR was forced to fire the Grinch more than 3 weeks ago.

another day goes by and CLR seems no closer to finding a decent DC that is willing to take 4 million bucks a year for 2 guaraneeed years to take the job. I guess there are some things even the biggest whores won't do.

Lots of recruiting dates coming up fast. An article in the Atlhetic mentioned the word panic in reference to ole SC.

Doesn't look like it's going to be a splash hire. None of them are interested.

I go back to Oregon states D coordinator who is holding out for the OSU head coaching job. Maybe he will come do it. Maybe a fired NFL head coach that was a decent d coordinator?

This is past getting embarrassing. sc

there are a ton out there. USC was waiting on word from aranda. I don't like leonhard. USC thinks they need a splash hire. Like "yeah we know we need a good coach. But we really need someone who can get us about 1 million Instagram likes. And increase our brand. And really make a impact and splash and get lots of stories on sports center." Which is how usc thinks and its idiotic.

Tim Allen is out there. rocky long is out there. The New Mexico coach who long trained is out there. Bray of osu is a great choice.

Not sure you have it correct... as you left off his 10 years in the NFL under verious defensive coaches and as a DC he took over for Justin Wilcox not Aranda. He spent time with Aranda when Aranda was there going over film and learning but took over for Wilcox ( you remember him). Also as DC in his 5 years in that position his defense finished in the top 5 four times nationally. I do beleive they played some teams that could score as well...but you have a poit of him not moving around a lot..

Nah they had to wait till this last weekend and maybe the next to let people seasons play out. No coach is going to go interview before his team finishes against their rival or ccg They're just deliberate and have their top choices. They want to be turned down by them before they go after the easier stuff
