Why not Coach O ... because he sucks as a HC. Everyone knows his OC and DC won that SEC tainted BS title. He is proving that fluke year was an anomaly and now is no different than his awful Ole Miss days.
No more Pete Carroll retreads ... they suck !
So riddle me this, Trojans:
Why NOT Orgeron as HC at USC? He seems to check all the boxes...
- Won a national championship.....check!
- Coach at USC in the past.....check!
- SEC pedigree.....check!
- Should be available (likely will be let go of by LSU by or before the end of the year).....check!
- Not currently married so no scandals there......check!
- Hasn't really gotten into any major scandals (a la Meyer or Franklin) that I know of (once tried to fight Oregon's old OL coach Steve Greatwood when both were assistants at SC--Greatwood just walked away).....check!
So why not Coach O ??????
Coach O might get fired but he be like
If he is donzo after this year I‘ll have a new found respect for how hard the job really is & Saban’s consistent success.
