Not true. They were scouting the signs of the opponent. Thats the difference. Its like being in the kitchen (other room) and two folks are on the phone chatting vs trying to pick up the other phone and listen in.

Knowing two people are on the phone is not the same thing as knowing what is being said. Let alone being done for a competitive advantage which by definition is meant to be done without unfair advantages.
