Everyone knows the Commanders are the flavor of the month. So naturally people are looking to that staff for openings. Kliff Kingsbury is getting a lot of attention for his work with Daniels.
Kingsbury is a natural for Dallas to look at with his Texas roots.
But there is another highly thought of coach on that staff. Anthony Lynn.
Yep, you know who's dad. And if that hire happens, all bets are off for what happens with the USC defensive staff.
Here's hoping Jerry goes with Deion since I hate the Cowpokes. Or Kingsbury since he seems to be the golden boy at the moment.
I don't know about that, I would think that the last thing a coach like Lynn would do is work for his Dad at this point in his career, that would just keep him under wing and would delay his rise, IMO.
Another interesting tidbit. Belichick has not signed his NC contract yet. maybe it's not finalized. He's signed a term sheet only. And so that $10 million buyout would not apply. Because the buyout is not on the term sheet. Further, a term sheet isn't a legally binding contract. Apparently if a legally binding contract exists, and I guess it does, but has not been signed yet, the term sheet isdn't a legally binding agreement.
This could get interesting
