Deieion needs to have an enemy. Even when one isn't there he just makes one up out of thin air and pretends everyone is against him. He needs that to fuel him. If you give him that, he has a better chance of beating you. Best thing to do would be for any opposing coaches to say how much he has turned Colorado around and heap praise on him. That is his Kryptonite.
He is just working his schtick. The whole no one believed in us routine. Dabo uses his christianity to get and motivate kids. Primetime uses the whole black thing to his advantage.
back in the day coaches that played SC would motivate their kids by telling them that SC didn't think you were good enough. yada yada yada.
I like primetime. He doesn't do the boring helton coach speak. kind of refreshing.
Newsflash: Buffs already believe the hype. A loss at Oregon would hurt, but knowing they could topple SC at home and still make the CCG would be motivation enough, and especially around a crowd that has waited decades for this kind of a team.
Winning at Oregon would just fuel the fire, especially for the home crowd. No way do ticket prices crash unless they lose to Oregon, SC and then to ASU.
Only way they possibly become deflated is by a curb-stomping by Oregon. At that point it won't matter as SC will likely curb-stomp them too.
But who knows? And that's exactly what makes college football so addicting.
The difference between CLR and Prime is that Prime put together great players on both sides of the ball through his first portal. Prime also hired the best coaches he could fine ON BOTH SIDES of the ball. CLR went with grinch.
Colorado's main problem is that they have almost zero depth anywhere. It's a long season. sc
It was pretty much tongue in cheek.
Just a little levity. I don't think Prime took it any other way.
he's right. Deion is a wanker
I love it, when has Colorado ever been this much fun.
Funny how Prime said in one of his players meetings he told the players not to wear hats.
The mother is always right. I couldn't play for a coach who talks in 'ghetto'.

Well, that didn't take long. Deion responds.
