For whatever reason this d is a lot better with gentry on the field. Like one person makes that much of a difference. They are a sieve without him. Adequate and a turnover machine with him. i always have liked him but the difference even surprises me. One guy usually doesn’t make that big a difference

It was remarkable how much better USC’s defense performed in the second half of games. That tells me the Def coaches were making great adjustments
