His plan is to RS next year and learn behind Gabriel . Let's see how this pans out, or if he beats out Novosad, or Novosad even hangs around to find out.
All good and valid concerns, Daystalker. He seems to have all the physical tools, can he mature into them I guess is the question?
I think he has shown elements of the maturation process by already admitting upfront he needs time to learn the QB position and is apparentlly eager to do so sitting behind Gabriel for a season.
Sounds like he wasn't at all happy at UCLA, which might have led to his behavior there. Hopefully he will be more content at Oregon. It's always a craps shoot with 5* QBs. Happy to roll the dice on this one, though, and see where we land in 2025-2026.
Novo was ONLY brought in at the last minute when Dilly moved on to be HC at ASU, Oregon didn't look to be headed to the B1G at the time, and so Dante decided Oregon wasn't it for him. Ain't the case no longer.
Fair competition? Is this AYSO soccer, my friend? Or love?
In the olden days, it's like giving in to go on a date with the girl your mom's neighbor set you up with after losing the phone number of the hot chick who flirted with you at the Red Onion on Saturday night. And then finding that number in your jeans right before washing them and going out on the date with the neighbor's friend.
Dante sucks shit, he will never play meaningful minutes for the Ducks, and if he does you guys are boned. Worst QB since Kevin Craft.
I have NO doubts.
THIS is the only player Oregon has lost in maybe the past 10 years that I truly regretted losing.
Looks like it all worked out.
Not sure any program can be said to have used the portal as successfully in recruting QBs as Lan Danning in landing both Gabriel and Moore.
Remember, people - you can't spell "lan ding" with out Lan Danning. 😁
Maybe Oregon can teach him to actually move.
And think.
So you want us to look at the bright side of today ?😂
What a crazy journey for Moore.
send smelling salts to alty
Good Offensive line to play behind.
That was no surprise....but whether you can keep your number two while Moore waits is more interesting...
