MSU Insider just put in CB pick to MSU after recent visits. Duck Boards silent in it but it’s blowing up on MSU Boards.

could be quite the winter if Ducks lose Lanning, Dilly , and then Dante. You know their would be a mass exodus of commits

One question.....why? I understand he's from Michigan, and the pull of parents can be quite overwhelming sometimes (Hello, Mrs. Hershel Dennis!). But outside of that....why?

Let's look at Tucker's offense since he's been a head coach:

2019 Colorado #100 in nation

2020 MSU #117

2021 MSU #39

2022 MSU #94 (through 9 games)

Yep, if I'm a 5-star QB, that's the guy I want to play for. 😝 If it were Michigan and we are talking about their #5-ranked offense, that would be a different story....

(For the record Oregon is currently #3 in the nation in offense.)

BTW if he does decide to stay home in Michigan, somehow I don't think it will be too difficult to flip a 2023 5* QB to play in Dilly's offense....... 🙂

One thing to note is that as good of a QB as Dante is, he's not much of a dual-threat QB. I'm personally not against trading him for a different high-4-star or 5-star QB who provides that additional aspect. The hope is, although you can't really coach "speed", in time he will learn to become one in Dilly's offense.

I have to agree with that. I wonder if conference re-alignment uncertainty around the Ducks plays a part with some recruits also. Because MSU? yikes

I think it’s more of the Lanning to Auburn rumors, SI reports all over the Web. Even if Auburn goes another direction, just knowing Lanning is looking to bail at any good offer can’t sit well with recruits. Why would a top recruit go to Oregon knowing their coach isn’t all in.

Dude, you might be able to flip Rashada. I know someone who knows him very well. That person told me he was a duck lean several months ago. I posted here, but also said the NIL money could be a factor. i still don’t know how NIL works. Can a kid bolt if he already received cash? Anyways, the U is seriously struggling right now.

Tell you what, with the incoming OL class we have, I’d actually prefer to poach a defensive recruit or 5 from an aTm. Posted last night about Anthony Hill. That guy is a phenomenal fb player. However sounds like he has Tex (the state) in his blood.
