agree, congrats to Washington... Perfect... The thing is Perfect in the Pac12 just means 5th place in the SEC.. Not a big deal... Huskies would need to dominate in Pac12 to be a legit team.
Congrats for likely winning out. But I think this concept of winning ugly might be exposed in the CCG (whether it's by Oregon or Arizona). Believe it or not eventually lack of depth will catch up to a team.
Hoping Oregon's "poorly-coached team" gets a second crack at this "well-coached" team in the CCG. At least we'll finally know who has the better-coached team in a one-game playoff at a neutral site. 😊
It's simple, TEE. Ducks win out, and they are in the playoffs.
B1G winner (provided it's a 13-0 team)
SEC winner
FSU
Pac-12 winner
Texas ain't jumping Oregon. A one-loss B1G team ain't jumping Oregon.
Only possible concern would be if Georgia narrowly loses to Alabama in the SEC CCG. Do you leave out a 1-loss Georgia team that had won like 28 straight or a team from one of the strongest conferences in the nation this year?
Tough decision. But I think the committee generally leans in favor of CCG winners regardless.
For reference Oregon already beat a team riding a 29-game winning streak 59-20 in the playoffs. So maybe the committee is wiser these days? lol. Who knows?

I hope to see UW and UO win next week to set up a monster conference championship.
Both coaches are the real deal.
