Now hearing Okie’s OL coach, Bedenbaugh, will be the next OLne coach at USC. This guy sends players to the next level. Sounds legit, but not yet official
if they get tht guy the OL would definitely get se highly rated recruits and the OL would improve because many feel this guy is the best in college football...
This is fine…his defense gives up 24 a game. In the modern CFB world, that’s good enough when you score 40.
The heads are going to explode when it’s announced that Harrell is staying on as OC. The two are very close, Harrell was Riley’s first QB when he joined Leach’s staff.
Someone to pss the info to the QB as Riley calls plays since they maybe friends but their offenses vsry way too much and Harrell is a hard head that beleives if things don't work just keep doing them and he hates mobile QB's while Riley loves a good running gasme and a mobile QB...that doesn't sound like the two wuld agree on much other then loyalty and a hefty buy out USC woud have to pay to get rid of Harrell
Interesting fact- Grinch played SS at Mount Union (Ohio) with Matt Campbell (MC was a DLineman). Grinch is also the nephew of longtime Missouri HC, Gary Picknel.
Those Ohio guy can coach. But let’s be straight forward here; If Grinch can’t get it done at USC, then fire him,,,, simple. Way too much money on the table now. No more BS. This is USC
Alex Grinch is a good to go DC...."Though the Sooners have still had some noticeable defensive lapses, they've improved by a touchdown or more over the porous Oklahoma defense that doomed the 2018 season. The year prior to Grinch's arrival in Norman, the Sooners' defense yielded 33.3 points per game and was gashed by Alabama for 45 points and more than 500 yards' offense in a season-ending College Football Playoff semifinal loss. In three years running the OU defense, Grinch's units have scoring averages of 21.73, 24.54 and 25.25 ppg. " If he can coach USC's D to give up 20-25 points a game with Riley getting the offense rolling...it could be the best teams we've seen in awhile...
Because Riley runs the bal and does it effectively ...the Pirate never figured out how to have a good running game but I will say he's improved on that in the SEC...

and his 38th ranked defense . I do love his name. THE GRINCH.
only USC doesn't have any linebackers, or anyone that can get to the quarterback.
good luck with that.
PS. both Riley and the Grinch are both Mike Leach guys. why not just hire the Pirate? sc
