Three star out of Michigan. He was leaning towards Purdue. To the untrained eye, we are struggling with recruiting. Hope I'm wrong and he is like Polamalu
Not sure about his size ..one site has him at 6'2" 205 and another at 6'4" 220. His film looks very good but I sure hope he's 6'4" 220 and not the other because we need big LBers that can move not small ones..
Yes, I remember them well. Without those knee injuries Lua would have been even better. His instincts at hitting the right gap and meeting the RB in the hole were amazing. He had a cup of coffee with the Patriots. Sartz was pretty damn good too , Granite Bay HS I think . Both highly recruited guys by the way. Not under the radar kids as I recall.
No disrespect but Dallas Sartz wasn't that good...he missed tackles a lot and got caught out of position a lot...never understood PC starting the guy...especially when Brina Cushig arrived...who was better as a freshman than Sartz was ever going to be...IMHO...Lua was a player and as you said too bad with his injuries we never got to see hi at full strenght but he went after it ...hard.
disagree. there was no one better on jumping on a pile than Dallas Sartz. dude came from everywhere, maybe a second late, but he made sure that ball carrier stayed down. sc
On3 had him at 6-3 220 4 star.
🤷🏻♂️
I think if we hire a good DC, our recruiting will get a bump.

If a guy can play, he can play. We will see. Remember Oscar Lua?
Dallas Sartz? He's a buddy of mine and he had to send his tape to Pete. If you can play, you can play.
