in college football. August West posted shortly after 162 was hired. And I brought up my concerns.
Didn't think so. Looks like Augie was right.
at least for now.
Saw this one as a probably loss on the schedule. Now I'm wondering if there will be 4 losses as long as Caleb can stay healthy.
This with the ND Loss makes it a great football saturday. sc
Defense still matters. The yardstick has just changed.
Those PI's aren't called most of the time except in the PAC where they seem to be called regularly. I love the way the DB's are playing...very physical and they are alert looking for the ball making plays...something that was missing for awhile...
At the game in Palo Alto tonight. Eric Gentry is the real deal at MLB. Gentry has tremendous "virtually perfect" tackling technique. Gentry led USC with 10 tackles. Hits hard...especially noteworthy given his 6'7" "string bean" build. Huge in pass coverage. Fast to fill and tackle on rushing stops. I was surprised how small our defensive line is compared to Stanford's OL. Stanford has two huge OT's.....dwarfed our DEs.
Brandon Pili played well. Korey Foreman didn't seem to havie any "WOW" sacks or n general. Only saw Korey on 3rd downs? I really like our secondary.....lots of good young dudes. Secondary was rotated frequently....lots of back-ups played in USC's secondary tonight. https://youtu.be/Ayc9STKjUX4
It doesn’t matter as much because of the F Up rule changes,,,, but it still matters. Give me a DT and DE, maybe another LBer (lol), and I’m ready to play the big boys.
LOL. Caleb and 162 would score 10-14 pts vs Georgia. MAX!! That midget Georgia QB would score 5000 point vs. Grinch and the Kenyans. Defense matters, Dickwad.
You predicted 8-4. And I did and still do.
it's a high wire act. I will keep saying it. The D is go big or go home. EVen in the second half There was a fumble recovery. And a huge sack at the end to seal it. Stanford got the ball with 3 min left and took 2 and a half minutes to get the ball to their own 20. That didn't impress me.
Can’t remeber a better weekend of cfb…. 15 years probably
