I was wondering where you got the 4/5 date. But , yeah I saw that scheduled commitment date. Looks like a Trojan 🔐. Highest rated RB in California this cycle. Considering the hemorrhage of talent leaving California in recent years this is a huge move for USC.
I’m thinking of leaving a message for Chad to call me or have one of his staff do so. But right now I know he’s going a mile a minute and the dude is on podcasts and sucking the air out of the room more than Deion sanders. So I don’t wanna bug him now.
I have a million questions.
What are the real numbers as to signing top talent? Who determines market value? Are
Most agents pros or friends and family? Are contracts signed and if so how can kids walk as much as they do? When signing a hs kid do you give him less money initially and are there agreements to escalate the numbers if he stays longer? What if he ends up sucking? When people transfer in how soon do they start getting paid? That SEC guy who came last year. Stayed for spring practice then went back to the SEC. How much did he get?
Are donations to this HOV tax deductible? Do the player get W2 ? Does the money go to the players? What else do they spend $ on? Can gifts be done through a charitable foundation or gifts of appreciated stock? If Bigballs donated $20k does he get your head cheerleader for a night? Does everyone get NIL? All sports? Just football? Are walk ons a thing of the past? Are you headed to a roster of 105? Do you still give scholarships or just money now?
How much of an annual player payroll. Not just new acquisitions but retention too does it take to compete at the highest levels?
How are you possibly funding the millions needed for a roster with a bunch of stupid views and likes on your HOV channel and selling $25 hats and donations? You have 1 million people giving $25? Tell me how the money really works here because if I know how it works. Where it goes. How you’re going to generate it. Spend it and make this whole thing work then I want to talk 5-6 figure donations. Because I think that’s where success lies here. Having a bunch of uncle Phil’s
Or does USC already have a handful of these and HOV is just to get the masses excited and happy and collect $25 here and there and sell tickets?
