I thought it was interesting, even though I don't agree with it 100%.
Looking at Tier 6 -- the "very bad" column, there are a lot of teams there you wouldn't associate with bottom feeding. OU is exhibit A, but when you think about fairly recent CFB history, did you ever think you'd see Nebraska and Miami being regularly shitty and ending up there? Also, you don't usually see the Indians at that level, nor do you often see Iowa sink that low, or even Michigan State.
Speaking of Michigan State, I kind of feel sorry for Washington this season. They beat the Spartans in the opener, and everyone thought UW was the shit. Turns out MSU was the shit -- just a different kind of shit. It reminds me of UCLA beating LSU last season, and that's all anyone could talk about. Well, we found out quickly that Special Ed's group was microwaved dogshit. The Huskies are now eating out of that same bowl.
Not everyone. Husky fans knew the defense would be an issue this season. You don't lose a 1st and 2nd round NFL draft pick in your secondary with not having a Budda Baker, Taylor Rapp, Byron Murphy, Elijia Molden, etc to slot in there without taking a step back. Plus, the top 3 DBs are injured right now and the DL isn't as effective when the QB can throw quick outs.
Crater Lake's recruiting fell way off when he was elevated to co-DC and with the injuries, we have a TrFr and RsFr starting at CB right now.
Nice diatribe on fecal matter.
Texas should be tier 3. In reality, with Ewers they are tier 1 but the 2 losses - one to Bama and one in OT - with their backup QB keeps them from being at least tier 2. The only reason just about any of the undefeated teams don’t have a loss is because they didn’t play Bama.
Everyone looks beatable except the OSU
they stand alone in tier one
When Miami left the Big East it was over for them, they are NOT a traditional power
When Nebraska left the Big 8/12, same story
Tennessee? Tier 1
BwahahaaaAa
Miami was getting early season hype., with their shiny new coach and all. Now not so much. sc
