"The blue-chip Lagway said it really came down to “USC, A&M, Oklahoma, Florida and Baylor really, those schools.”
If this is really the case I like USC's chances after all. The last QB A&M developed was at FSU. The UF and Baylor staffs have no pedigree. Only one that has done anything is Lebby at OU and was it him or really Lane? OU is quite the dumpster fire.
Riley can connect the dots from Mayfield to Murray to Hurts. That is two Heismans and a runner up. USC may not be able to recruit the trenches worth a crap right now, but they should never lose a QB recruiting fight. I assume big ugly recruiting will improve over a couple of full recruiting cycles. USC must lock down the sparse true talents that come from out west and figure out how Hollywood up some out of the area corn feds and swamp monsters.
Too many DJs.
Sounds like Florida for Lagway. Riley has been on Lagway since he lost Raiola to Ohio state a few months ago. Then Riley seemed to switch focus to the Mater Dei Qb , Brown. This guy, Lagway, is 2024. We have Nelson and Caleb ready for 2023. Lagway is rumored to be visiting for the Notre Dame game but not confirmed. if he shows up, maybe the Trojans are an option. But still 2024 is still a long way away, even if he commits.
now for some big news, the #1 hoops player in the nation is announcing today. Trojan,
