Donte to be kept

Maybe they are thinking like McKay did with players...don't need him but don't let anyone else have him since he does have connections in recruiting the west coast...

@OldHickoryTrojan That made sense for McKay, since there was no limit on the number of players you could keep. It makes no sense for Riley, since coaching slots are strictly limited and Williams brings nothing to the table that others couldn't provide as well or better.

@SC Gator I don't disagree but obviously either Riley ain't getting Manning or he has a gun to his head by USC Administration to keep the guy...I don't see any other options except they want those two corners badly...

@BigBallss so was all that BS with some of the players (db’s mostly) really necessary? I hope those pukes still get the boot. Talk about entitlement

@BigBallss Defensive Co-Ordinator? Many (not all) Husky fans didn't want Williams as a DB coach let alone a DC. He was only viewed as a recruiter. There are other reasons why Williams would never be a coach at UW.

@OldHickoryTrojan Donte is in not way the problem, hence why he's been kept. I think Riley knows more about his situation then the random's on this board. And again, Henson was brought in as the TE and ST coach. Not the OL coach, also why does it matter if it's not what they did at Oklahoma? USC isn't Oklahoma, nor will they be coaching against teams in the Big-12. So, logically there would be a shift.

@USCfiredHelton2021 When they got Riley they also got Rileys offense and his defense.. Riley decides what changes he needs to make not USC...and the report I saw a couple weeks ago was Donte was telling recruits his job was guaranteed...that wasn't a riley decision if the report was accurate..as far as Hanesn if you read a little more my point on Hansen was to someone who keeps saying he is the new OL coach...I responded he could be becuase he has expereince doing that and in fat had every lineman on his 2020 OL at Tulsa making AllLeague...regardless it was discussed because I still contend Harrell is gone blecause Riley has spots to fill and there aren't enough left to keep Harrell..

@BigBallss Dontae could handle the CBs, I definitely don’t want him in control of the safet and the rest of the secondary….we have Grinch for that.
