...is pure genius. Whoever his agent is ain't charging enough.
Before arriving at CU, Dorrell hadn't been a head coach in...what, 12 years? He'd spent the previous 12 years as a pretty lousy college OC and a college/NFL position coach. He was just over .500 at UCLA from 2003-2007. WTF? Who hires a head coach who hasn't been a HC in a dozen years, and who didn't accomplish anything during his only stint as a HC?? I know CU was kind of desperate after Coach Dinglefuck (now at MSU) bailed on them at the last minute, but Holy Dogshit -- was Dorrell the best they could do?
They're smoking way too much weed in Colorado these days. They've really stopped giving a fuck. It wasn't that long ago when CU was a really good program. I guess they're saying the same thing in Nebraska.
But, seriously, that $8.7 million buyout is brilliant on the part of Dorrell's agent. It may not be at Charlie Weis-level, but it's awfully sweet. Dorrell will make way more money on that buyout than he made from 2008-2019 combined -- and for doing nothing! Fuck, the CU football program is in far worse shape now than when he got there. $8.7 million for that?? How is that not a crime??
