Tuli, Pili and AV were Hugs recruits. Interesting that all were Bigs….Hugs also had two 1st Round OL draft picks in his day-Austin Jackson and AVT. A few more DL animals and I bet he kept his job.
This makes it hard to accept that UCLA had to play the SC game with one arm behind its back - No Defensive Coordinator. Just one more stop and it’s a W. Two stops and it’s a relatively easy win. Does a DC have an impact? I don’t know but they must get a big pay check for a reason. Luck or bad luck is a variable we all have to live with in life I guess.
