Ducks are fading

The ducks new staff sucks. Freaking Mario bolted on the Ducks for sunshine and $8 mil/ yr, whatever. Dude couldn’t coach, but dam he could recruit. This new staff? Nothing zippo. And Uncle Phil won’t play the NIL game. Why? Dudes almost 90 and worth 40 billion. Instead he’s building another $250 million indoor practice facility. Why? Kids want cash. They don’t care about that crap anymore. Phil won’t even pay $500k / yr for Rashada or Conerly. Oh, and Dye’s a traitor.

not really impressed with the new coaching staff at UW either. Their recruiting is pretty bad too. Maybe they are better coaches , Smith at OSU is a really good coach, but really, what are going to do with all those 2 and 3 star kids. I still see the Ducks having enough to win the PAC N( because it’s so bad). Then getting a beatdown in the PCG.

@TEE I think the NIL really bit into the recruiting acumen of both. But, just like with legalizing weed, it is just a matter of time before the novelty wears off and one realizes the black-market is tax free.

@DayStalker I voted twice to legalize recreational marijuana not because I approve of its recreational use but because I hated the war on drugs so much. However, I prophesied that the morons in stste government would screw it up by over taxing and over regulating the industry, thereby making marijuana half as expensive on the black market. The California state government is not only run by criminals. But they are morons too.

hey, you got a USC WR a couple of years ago (the guy who put his name in for this year’s draft). I didn’t see the ducks hesitate to take him.

LanNing supposedly assembled the best recruiting staff of all time. I’m sure the duck will get players. As far as Conerly, I’ll believe it after he commits.
