Ducks have out recruited Dawgs every year for over a decade. Hasn't stopped us from owning your sorry asses. Too bad they make you play the games instead of just shoveling money to high schoolers. Also, too bad your coaches can't improve the play of the kids they buy. How many of this year's recruits will be in portal this time next year? Oh that's right they really weren't any good and you are glad they are gone.
LOL! Touch a nerve? You better hope your playoff "birth" doesn't give "berth" to an egg. It will be the last time you'll be there for a while.
BTW it's Petersen not Peterson and it's DeBoer not De Boer - although I think DeBoner suits him better based on how you Mutts love to stroke yourselves to him (lol...forget grammar which is easy for someone with a UW education to do apparently, but how do you not even know how to spell the names of your supposed HOF coach or your current coach?? I have to ask: Are you really a Dawg fan?)
Ok, ticky-tack spelling barbs aside, PetersEn is in the HOF more based on what he accomplished at BSU, not at UW. He ran away from UW with his tail between his legs like the Mutt he is, just like Don James did. Sensing a theme here, yes....? Just a matter of time for DeBoner.
Speaking of which, did you hear DeBoner's wishy-washy response when asked how long he'd be at UW? That's all you need to know that he's soon headed for greener pastures. Compare that to Lanning's response. That's all you need to know there.
And I'm well aware that Rogers is the second leading passser in SEC history. Do you know who is first and who is second in the p12 - a conference KNOWN for quality QBs (unlike the SEC)?
That's right, the new pac-2's Luke Wilson and Sean Mannion. Exactly: Who??? So much for being able to throw for a bunch of yards leading you to the promised land. Where did it get those two at WSU and OSU? You can tell I'm not at all impressed by Will Rogers unless he can also throw a lasso and changes his first name to Roy.
Enjoy the playoffs. You earned it with two 3-point victories over Oregon. But do yourself a favor and savor the moment. It's very clear to many you won't be back anytime soon if you cannot recruit better.
Thanks for correcting spelling mistakes as I was having too much fun responding to your drunken rant. Remember you posting same dribble about our respective futues on the signing day for Flowe's class. Another Top 10 Duck class. Three years later that class had yielded four starters. You guys are simply terrible at player evaluation and development. How have Dawgs turned out since? With Tosh and Mete on your staff we will continue to abuse your defense. You are dumb enough to believe what coaches say about their futures in Duckland. Shame on you! Remember when Little Mario said the same BS. Off he went. Lanning will do same if he ever coaches well enough to get an offer. He is still a blunder waiting to happen.
Hey tgdog, I'm sure you're a nice guy and all. And I don't mean to insult you. But I prefer sparring with woof woof or mandb who tend to bring more substance and intellect to their posts.
Using Mario help illustrate the UO of today is like using Jimmy Lake to help illustrate the UW of today.
Ryan Pellum’s brother/coach Romeo Pellum said he found out the WRs decision right as they walked into the gym for the signing ceremony. He said USC coaches had been calling him all day because Ryan wasn’t answering calls. Romeo told Luke Huard the news just before announcement.
Romeo said he still hadn’t had a full conversation w/ Ryan about the decision, but he thinks getting away from home and being able to grow away from family may be the biggest factor. He said Malachi Nelson’s departure from USC could have factored in too Ryan and he are friends.
For his part, Ryan Pellum really didn’t want to talk much about the decision and didn’t give us much in the way of reasoning.
🤣🤣🤣 he ghosted his own brother over a bag. I mean you hate losing players, but one player at a position SC is loaded at is not a huge deal.
Don't know exactly what you're getting at here, but I'm guessing he's had to deal with a few. I even have a name or two who WERE on the team 1-2 weeks ago.... I'm sure he knows there will always be a few bad apples in a group of 85+
Folks, he did not flip. He was already committed to Oregon. There was no reason for Oregon to chase him at the end with valuable NIL money once Gresham was staying and they had flipped the OSU WR. Pellum was already accounted for by the Ducks regardless of what anyone else did in signing day. I never bought his verbal to begin with and thought it was suspicious that the nephew of a former Oregon player and coach would commit to SC over Oregon, especially with his family situation and an Uncle and his Alma mater that could support him better than SC. Nope, this was no flip. He was always a Duck. Knew it from the beginning
Yep, it's been a good day so far. Too busy to keep track, but looks like we also flipped 4* WR Jeremiah McClellan from tOSU. Thought we'd only get one or the other WR....
My quacks up to #4 in recruiting so far per 247. Just behind Georgia, Alabama, tOSU. A big thank you to both Phil Knight and Lan Danning.
Good luck to Washington in the playoffs, that might be it for a while I fear. Coming in at 34th in the nation currently in recruiting ain't gonna cut it, no matter how much portal-diving you do or how good your coaches are.
What the hell else is new?
A lot of young men getting rich thanks to Uncle Phil.
