El doctor,
I have an assignment for you.
Since you are not only an expert on Band Aid theory, you are also an expert on everything Mexican and especially Mexican food. Here is you’re assignment:
I would like for you to visit the El Pescador restaurant in Downey and check out their restaurant. A few notes first:
A guy named Ortiz from Mexico had eleven children, all boys. The oldest son came to the America, decided to open a restaurant and it turned out to be a huge success and today they own about 15 El Pescadore restaurants.
Saturday, I hosted 10 mostly family members for the USC vs Stanford BB game and prior to the game 7 of us decided at eat at El Pescadore in Downey in the patio area and it was super. Everybody enjoyed the restaurant and the game which we won by ten points .
El Pescadore is conveniently located on the way to the Galen center between the #71 and the #605 freeways and just north of the #105 freeway
I look forward to your opinion el doctor because you are an expert on Mexican food and much more.
BTW, check out the two great links.

only one has amazing food
I’m no doctor but i play one on Thursday and Saturday. El pescador is great been to that location on lakewood. I remeber the immaculate tile floors, which is important when you‘re eating ceviche and have a weak gut.
Hi El T, great to see you posting. Bad news about El Doctor tho. No, he is not dead. The gerbil in his ass didn’t make it tho. poor little fella. Not Clam, the heroic gerbil. So there is that. I thought El Pescador was Cartel money being laundered. You see those houses in Downey? Cartel $$ was my suspicion all these years. Don’t disappear for too long El T. Right sc? Lol.
I have no comment on the restaurant but this is the first time I've ever seen the phrase "conveniently located on the way to the Galen Center" used to describe someplace in Downey.
