IF Fraud's favorite pineapple struggles in his next couple of games (possibility with ND this week), it's possible that Riley might target Ewers in the TP. Wouldn't be that crazy all things considered. I imagine Riley is finally starting to feel some heat and knows he has to improve - a lot - next year. Ewers isn't a home run but then again look at Gabriel and what he's accomplished this year. Actually, Oregon would be a more likely stop for him but still... He can move, has lots of big game experience. There are worse options out there.

That would be a HUGE HUGE UPGRADE. My guess is that Riley is incapable of making that happen.
Isn't Ewers eligible for the draft? accepting a huge step down in coaching isn't going to improve his draft stock down the road. He'd be better off ging to the nfl now and getting drafted later in the first round and going to a solid playoff team.
