Saban is the kind of guy who would die within a few months of retirement. But he also strikes me as the kind of guy who might die on the sidelines.
He's fucked.
Seriously, though. There are some people who just can't retire. He'd never be in the thick of competition like that again, and that's what he lives for. You don't get to that level and create that kind of success unless it's pretty much your whole purpose. Retirement would kill him.
He obviously has absolutely nothing to prove at this point, but that's NOT the point.
A fake twitter account “@grace and tony“ posted as Pete Thamel and stated that Saban had told his team that this was his last season at Bama. It swept through the internet and created a brief firestorm among college football fans.
Nothing but Saban is pissed at his team. Looking for removing the underachievers from starting roles and replacing those with kids that want to go 100%. He said he saw no fire in his team and needed to light one...

He can’t retire until he faces Lincoln Riley in Championship final and hands off the baton to the next dominant coach.
What am I missing?
I see nothing about Saban or retiring
