Doc, are MD's with degrees from the Carribean, Mexico and even India medical schools OK? I'm with Kaiser and notice doctors with degrees from these countries and medical schools. They must be good if Kaiser hired them, no? Looking forward to your opinion. Thanks in advance...

Everything in medicine has changed since woman took over.
I always wondered why any woman would want to do a very arduous career when they didn't have to. My med school class was the first one with majority women. And back then med students got their asses kicked. Brutal 36 hour shifts. That means on your feet for a day in a half. Not saying that most couldn't do it but why, especially the decent looking ones.
But once they got the numbers they said enough of this shit and it's now a 9-5 job. No more staying up all night , operating at night etc. and having to see patients in the office the next day. All that labor was taken over by FMG's foreign medical school grads and today nurse practitioners and physicians assistants who now demand to be called physician associates, lmao.
And that is for those that couldn't find someone to pay their bills. A close relative of mine married a pediatrician. In her training program 20 years ago there were 6 women. Of those 2 work the full 40 hrs a week, 2 work part time and 2 have never practiced a day of medicine. So the numbers have to come from somewhere.
I went to a decent medical school . Got into a top one , but made a decision to stay close because of a chick. The choices 21 year old's make. getting to your question, it really doesn't matter what medical school someone goes to. It's the opposite of law school, where law school means everything. It really really really matters where they did their residency, ie trained in their particular specialty. That's where they learn how to be a doctor. The other stuff is just hoop jumping.
Believe it or not Kaiser gets the top docs out of the best training programs. It's a super cushy life with great benefits, and it lets chicks work part time. Insurance has made private practice pretty much obsolete.
So whatever doc you are looking up, look at where they trained. Lots of white guys are kept out of medical school. UCLA, a place I know very well, had HALF of their med school flunk the state exams and never practice medicine since they went DEI. Kaiser is pretty good medical care. Never worked their myself, but did some contracts for them at a couple of bidnesses I ran. Medicine is great for doctors now. Not so great for the patients. I pay for concierge service with an old school MD for my family's care. To me it's worth it. sc
