For the people on the board (You know who you are) who insist that UCLA wouldn't be in the BIG if not for USC, chew on this.

UCLA sucks is a core concept n eeding mention here.
Chew on Nothing?
Hey, ATL, did you post your link in invisible ink?
All I know is what I heard and what I read at the time. Made sense.
I know utla athletic department was desperate for money. So the utla AD went over to USC's ad for a free meal and asking for help. At the time HALF ALL ALL utla ATHLETIC PROGRAMS WERE GOING TO BE CANCELLED.
So Ya, it may have been utla's idea. so what. BIG wasn't even taking utla's phone calls. So hat in hand utla begged SC for help. Try to show some gratitude.
It's not like utla was involved in the BIG negotiations with SC. Only that USC wouldn't close the deal if they didn't take ucla with them.
The BIG wasn't even talking to utla. AT ALL. Finebaum said that BIG was ONLY interested in SC , but was talked into taking ucla to seal the huge LA media market. Why would he lie? See his youtube.
The 8 clap should include the phrase "THANK YOU DADDY" , when utla plays SC, it's just common courtesy. sc
bs
Which one is lying Jarmond or alty's friend? both , most likely.....USC forced the Big to take ucly....they did not want them...truth
They are now Elite because they came in 2nd in the PAC 12 and kept it close Vs. Tulare. With this elite status comes the ability to just make up shit as they go and proclaim it as USC fact. How soon before the B1G makes fun of them and their silly little hubris like the PAC does?
USC Fans looking down in disgust upon the unwashed college football landscape from their perch after hoisting the Runner Up Pac-12 Trophy:
"he says that it was him/UCLA that started the entire move to the B1G from the beginning. Specifically, he says that he had dinner with Mike Bohn over two years ago at Mike's Manhattan Beach home and put it to him bluntly [paraphrasing]: "We either need a bigger share from the Pac-12 or we need to start looking to the Big 10". We also shared a laugh at Oregon's expense when I recounted to him that quote from Oregon's president that the Ducks wouldn't stay in a conference where they earned less than UCLA — "And where are they now?". This is fron an influential donor who spoke with Jarmond last week.
