Georgia wants to eliminate State Income Tax on NIL

apparently they want to do this to level the playing field with Tennessee which has no State Income Tax at all. Imagine the advantage this provides over states like California and the impact on recruiting with NIL ...

Only for three or four years at the most....personally I live in Tennessee and the frick'n summers are hot and humid as hell and yup we have bugs but in my part of the state blacks are few and far between and no swamps to my knowledge around here but then we live withoin an hour of the great smokies...so for all it's faults, we don't get taxed to death, cost of living is reasonable, don't have illegal gang bangers everywhere even though Biden tried, don't have an oppressive government, and don't have issues with water availability where i can't water my lawn in the summer or use a gas BBQ,......with that said we do have a high influx of Californians and New Yorkers lately which is not a good sign...housing prices are sky rocketing and hispanics seem to follow al the new construction going on....it's a damn shame.

California state tax has 9 brackets up to 12.3%. If you make over $1mill the state rewards your productivity by hitting you with an additional 1% hit. How is that fair? But if life were fair we would all be good at being tall and dunking a basketball.

Bottom line USC needs a NIL that s higher than schools like Georgia and Tennessee that is 12.3% higher then those schools to compete for the same dollars to the players.. Not going to happen IMHO so in other words besides academics which constrain recruiting against certain schools and schools with sugar daddy's you have the state income tax imbalance to deal with...no wonder with all the added leadership being added to the football program USC is still at a huge disadvantage...
