I listen to his podcast regularly. He's a rare breed: independent thinker in the sports world. You look at him - dopey looking, 50-60 lbs overweight, speaks laconically but a very sharp mind, and quite funny. His podcast, fearless, is a good listen. Nobody does sports+culture better. His deconstruction of both Lebron and Kaepernick alone worth the listen.
Independent thought is only valued if it leans left. Try listening to Rage against the machine. The lyrics completely thrash what the current democrat authoritarian regime is all about. Punk Rawk for big Government, man.
