I agree with Lanning being an incomplete only three years in from being a head coach anywhere.

But I would add that highly ranked classes don't mean as much as you think they do.

Otherwise I think we'd have seen Kiffin and Sark both do better than they did with regular top 5 USC recruiting classes (both of whom have proven to be very good head coaches given time).

Not to mention TAMU consistently securing highly ranked classes with nothing to show for it.....lol

give Lannings A to Phil Knight. Cristobal is not a B. He still doesn't know how to be an HC but he can recruit and his OL is fairly solid..Freeman is a good coach but not an A when you look at the number of patsies ND scedules each year..
