And how many hit/miss. 18% Hit, 4% asterisk, 27% Incomplete & 42% miss.
So 69% on miss or missing which is damn high. Not a complete shocker.
The problem with this “analysis“ is it puts zero Weight into a QB‘s supporting cast (OL, WR, TE, RB), the Defense behind him and then lastly coaching. QB take most of the heat while they only really control maybe 30-40% of the situation.
Dont ask me to justify my math/percentage. :) It’s a pull.
Darnold turned the ball over at USC....so did Barkley.
He turns the ball over. That is all that matters In the nfl.
cant turn the ball over in the nfl. It’s a law with one exception in its history.
only player to ever get away with it was hall of famed Brett Favre . No one has come close. sc
Not the whole story But of course he’s not blameless.
He’s been in two terrible situations.
Im not making excuses for him it’s just the truth. Bad OL. Bad WRers. Unproven HC‘s. Bad TE’s. All X 2. His backups and his replacements have fared worse than he did.
He‘s been a B- for hand he was dealt.
Look at all winning QBs. They have found themselves in a much better “situation”.
Every single time. And that is rarely mentioned.
As of now Darnold is a Bust. Just like the Schaos.
a triple A superstar in college that for whatever reasons can’t handle major league piitching.
bummer. sc
This also doesn’t account for what Division a QB is in. Rodgers beating up on Detroit & Chicago 4 times a year is good for stats.
As was TB12 beating up on Buffalo & NY Jets for a decade.
