Gruden trying to get a job again

Unless football has changed since when I played. Those words were commonly used by all players back then. And once you got to know the coaches as you got older, you found out they talked the same way. It’s a “tough guy” sport. Look what they do to the rooks in the NFL. Now the NFL is going to pretend that stuff is not happening around the league… and the funny thing is most of these people who are saying these things are “woke.” LOL, just like labeling conservatives as fascists.

agree. all my coaches sounded like that. it was just part of it all back in my day.

we thought most of it was funny. getting called a pansy, dumbass, fatbody, candyass, etc, and my favorite side road gouger (still don't know what that means, but it still sounds funny coming out of a big fat dude in choaches shorts with a cigarette in his hand. It was just part of growing up. In 9th grade my chubby best friend (who later walked on to USC as a quarterback) was called an ice cream truck.

And that was after and before anyone gave a shit about anyone's race. Good brief time in out history to grow up. better music too.

No, my coaches probably didn't exactly think a soft kid was a faggot. He was just trying to make a man out of him. Kind of like a drill sergeant.

Our high school coach said far worse. He would get fired today, in about a week. He called us cunts more than once.

Gruden needs to lose some weight (big time).....and get a new barber. His haircut is worse than his brother's "Moe Howard Bowl Cut" or Mark Davis'. Gruden deserves another chance. He is good for the game.
