You think the market was cold for Darnold? After a pro bowl year. But Indy signs Daniel Jones? And if DJ was such a hot commodity why did he agree to a one year deal??
I don't think anyone left any money on the table. And Indy was never in the cards.
I thought I laid out pretty accurately that the market was cold. That the teams were the Steelers, Raiders, Vikes. And two of those were $ conscious and the Raiders did not like him. I felt he needed something to happen to create a market. And whammo, Seattle trades Geno, which they clearly did having a deal with Sam in place.
And Seattle wound up being the team to create a market.
The back up market in the NFL looks like it's about 4-10 mil a year. Great work if you can get it. Hold a clipboard. Watch film. Fly first class. Stay out of concussion protocol and maybe start a game a year.
But starting and being beyond your rookie contract? Looks like there are about 15-20 of those jobs. Maybe slightly more. And those pay about $40 million a year. Worth some CTE for that kind of coin. And voila, Sam got it. Even better, I don't think Seattle has a young QB they are bringing along like Minn. So he may be able to play the whole deal out and collect $110 m
Lmao. Why do you post OPINION as fact?

Help me out here. Who left what? Sounds like both Vikes QB's walked on them
