Chart here posted here post game indicated Haskins got 8 snaps and Ford 40.
According to Riley after practice, both got 24. Not sure if this is coachspeak and he is controlling the narrative or someone mis counted. I wasn't counting lol
So for what it's worth, it's still a battle
Keeping the fire lit IMHO...
And I love this Travis Dye kid. Not sure if you saw but a DE broke loose and was about to sack Williams. And Dye pancaked him. Didn't just get in the way, or push him off track. Absolutely obliterated the DE. I don't think I have ever seen a RB do that to a DL.
He was interviewed and it was hilarious.
Dye said Tuesday that pass protection was an area of focus for him during the off-season working with running backs coach Kiel McDonald.
“No blocky, no rocky, that’s just how it is,” Dye said. “I knew I had a route. I saw the d-end coming up. He’s showing all these ribs, so I had to get me some baby back ribs real quick.”
