This is a trap play vs the standard zone blocking patty cake sessions we run.
OL work in Unison. They Outnumber their opponents. They Move their feet. They create a lane .
Not rocket science.

It just completely fawking annoys me that Drake Jackson plays LB when he should have his fucking hand in the dirt. Way to take a talented player and make him completely irrelevant
USC used to have one run play that was consistently effective. We would pull the guard across the Center and double team the opposing defense in the interior of the D.
Worked really well. Seems like we don’t run it anymore. So fing weird.
This is not pulling the guard for a sweep/off tackle play. That I believe is student body right. Correct as needed. Maybe it’s pulling a guard and a tackle Over for SBR. I guess I better youtube it.
The benefit is simple. You’re outnumbering your opponent at the LOS.

DC
Either a well-designed play or a poorly coached defense. I'm leaning toward more of the latter.
student body right is a Great Nickname for a Play design.
idea being bring everybody Over. yes guard and tackle pull. Plus the fullback as a lead blocker.
Thats 3 more dudes than any current USC run play.
