It was a mixed bag to tell you the truth. The game sucked, UCLA's Defense was really whomped on, Oregon did what they pleased. This is what Bruin fans have been pissed about and why no one gives a shit about Chip Kelly anymore. He has always had putrid defenses. He is just absolutely defiant when it comes to hiring a DC that can get a stop when he needs to. Just one or two stops per game at appropriate times makes this team an actual playoff contender. What we also saw in this game was Chip's lack of recruiting coming back to F him in the A. But, oh well. They lost. I am a man, I can take it. You won't see me bleating to the sky like my loved one was just taken out by a drone strike, or you won't see me mail a box of dog shit to the PAC-12 head offices and claim there is a vast referee conspiracy to keep UCLA's greatness from reaching it's full potential due to jealousy. I will leave that to less intelligent fanbases.
The part of my weekend that really sucked was that I sprained a nard moving some stupidly heavy potted pants to replace the saucer things under them so the patio won't stain. I was on the 2nd one and felt a twinge, but nothing too bad so just pushed through and figured I would feel it the next day and kill it with a Bloody Mary. Took a shower and got cleaned up to watch the game and then BAM, full on pain. Spent the afternoon watching football with a bag of frozen Brussels sprouts on my junk. It swole like a Edison bulb, it was crazy. Seems better now, but still a little tender.
The rest of the weekend was fine, just hung around the house, sat in the jacuzzi, sent the wife away yesterday for a spa day so I could sip some brews and have a Gar and watch some games with the fire pit going, just typical stuff. Sorry it took me till today to reply, I only really post here during banker's hours, too much good stuff going on I guess to login and and post all weekend, not that there is anything wrong with that.
That was the lamest part, they were heavy, but not anything I haven't done before and I did lift with my legs, but I was in a hurry and I must have just zigged when I should have zagged. I usually have the gardener or the vineyard guys do that stuff. Unfortunately I am not a liberal hippie so I don't have weed salve. I hit them with a little Gold Bond Medicated spray instead, I swear it is like the breath of an angel, especially with the frozen bag of vegetables. Junk is still swole though, so maybe I got bit by a recluse spider or something, they are here now, you know.
If this doesn't clear up by tomorrow I am going to go the doctor and request P.T., she usually signs off on that and I will be back in sparring shape shortly. As for now, this old dog can still bury a bone.
