Hi team, thank you for the nice welcome back notes

Some have asked why I have been away for awhile.

The answer is el doctor banned me for not delivering his tamales on time last Christmas. You know that Mexican blood in him has to have his tamale fix, especially at Christmas time, otherwise he goes through withdrawal pains. Right SC?

Truth is I have on going medical issues. Not surprising because at this stage of my life I can hear footsteps (Father Time’s footsteps) and they are getting louder and louder each year.

Still on the serious side, did you know that Marv Goux like el doctor is Mexican?

Here is how I found out. Several years ago while doing my sit down picnic on campus for 20 guests I called and invited Marv Goux to be my guest. He thanked me but said he could not join us because of his medical issues.

Then I asked him which cross streets in the desert was he near.

He replied with two Hispanic names which I pronounced incorrectly. He yelled at me saying what kind of Mexican are you when you cannot even pronounce Hispanic streets correctly. He went on to say that his grandmother to whom he was very close to was Mexican.

That is a true story!

Anyway, glad to be back and I look forward to hearing more comments from D Cleater and el doctor and others about potential USC football coaches.
