this way.....any school that takes a player has to reimburse the school they take them from for an equivalent of cash they paid the player to leave...and that cash goes into the NIL fund of that school...that would seem legal....also I'd like to see these NIL agreements with the player be a contract that locks them down until the period the NIL is paying them is met...

I agree it is messed up. Maybe that makes sense and would slow down some of this chaos.
Players could always transfer prior to NIL but the biggest detractor was having to sit out one year. And was it two years if you wanted to transfer in conference.
Why did that rule go away?
