Kind of nice to have this fall weather here in Southern California. I was bummed that UCLA had a bye, but got to see a bit of some other games. Some good ones. Some stinkers. What was your favorite game from the weekend?
SAN DIEGO PADRES.....5-3 ELIMINATION GAME WIN OVER THE DODGERS. FIVE (5) RUNS IN BOTTOM OF 7TH WHERE PADRES SENT 10 MEN TO THE PLATE......DESTROYING THREE (3) DODGER RELIEVERS IN THE PROCESS.
Soccer games in the morning went great. Bunch of us went to San Diego for the LAD game. SMH. At least the Rams won. Next Saturday works out well. All soccer games done by noon followed by the UCLA-Oregon game at 12:30 and another BBQ with the grandkids in the pool.
The Utah game, Tennessee- Bama, and Michigan game were my favorites. I predicted the Michigan blowout. Matt Leinart picked PSU btw. His knowledge of CFB isn’t very good. I should be on tv! Haha
Why would you dump the goalposts in a river? Wouldn't it be better to take it somewhere, cut it apart, and make beer mugs out of it, or something? It's a semi-historic game, why waste that big of a souvenir?
