Patrick Turner wasnt a bad player.
Whitney was gone in 4 days. All time all time bust. Like Micque Juarez level.
Can you say "Patrick Turner"? "Whitney Lewis"? "Chris Galippo"? etc.
Agree BB. Great case study. not sure PG likes to hit people either. he could be a wuss....being serious. very ok if he proves me wrong Here.
This coming from a non Helton fan, critic since the hire was announced: I can't blame number 1's issues on field on Helton. Me thinks his athletic ability allowed him to run around making plays in HS but he just never grasped the playbook. Lots of physical talent but not strong at assignment football, gaps, positions etc. I wish him well but I think its a PG issue not a Helton. That said if he turns into a stud there then it's on the d coaches here for not figuring him out and coaching him up.
this is going to be a great case study. does PG finally play like a 5* under a staff we consider much better at developing talen? Or does he continue to play below expectations. Lots of players have transferred under the Helton tenure, but none have done significantly better. The Illinois guys, B etiku, imatorbhebe bros, the receiver that went there (trevon sidney). Sears is a bench warmer. JT will do ok. Rodgers and the big DT bigelow tanked. Jamel cook and Pie Young. has any transfer done better than they were doing under helton?
