Colorado's formal announcement that they are leaving the pac 12 tomorrow for the Big 12.
Does that make me a bad person?
It's not like I ever really noticed that Colorado was in the pac 12 in the first place.
USC has played Colorado 16 times in it's history and WON 16 times. Including their brief time in the pac 12.
Damn. Even navy beat the french whores and rice beat bama every once in a while.
Clay Helton beat Colorado. Every time he tried. Even better than his 5 and 1 record against utla. Damn.
The reason that it makes me smile is because it's another nail in the pac 12's coffin. Makes me smile.
As a cherry on top, no one (still two words) including the Big 12 wants WhOregon. I probably find that more amusing than anything else. Another exposed character flaw I guess. Oregon was openly begging the BIG and the Big 12 to take them. They would have probably joined the Mountain west if asked. Probably would have done it for free. Talk about a chick that can't get a prom date.
Why no one wants Oregon? Is it because they are afraid of Oregon? I really don't have any idea and quite honestly don't care. I just relish the idea that they will be on some late night obscure cable channel or streaming service I haven't heard of before in their ridiculous "look at me!!!" uniforms.
None of this probably matters. The days of conferences and TV contracts are numbered. Just an old , tired, and antiquated bidness model. Not sure what replaces it, but the idea of creating Republicans becaise college football players all of a sudden have to pay taxes makes me smile almost as much as pac 12 refs winding up being greeters at Walmart. sc
Sanctimonious Stanford is largely responsible for this mess. Enjoy while the tree / color school enjoys the failure they created.
16-0 against CU? That's actually pretty impressive, but to be fair USC has really only played CU twice when CU has been a good program, back in the early 2000s. Chalk another one up for Pom Pom Pete.
CU has been pretty shitty in the Pac 12. But I guess that's the point, right?
