Actually, not all of us did predict this. Many were lauding the fact that the players loved him and that it was good to keep stability and that we couldn’t find anybody better anyway. The moral character argument.
wonder how cravens feels now after talking about what a great hire Helton was. Of course players love a coach when he doesn’t push them Or hold them accountable. Except for the guys riding the pine because they aren’t the love of the coaches life.
the day he thanked "Coach Haden" for the gig , I posted the reasons it would be a fawking disaster.
First he only got the gig as "quarterbacks coach" and some sort of "offensive coordinator assistant" because Darth Goatshit needed a body to fill the position while he fully intended on doing both himself.
This kind of crap happens all the time. Fat boy's LOSER dad was friends with Lane Kiffen's demented dad in the "coaching community". It was a "payback favor".
Lard ass had ZERO qualifications for the gig other than he was directly quoted that he made sure Kiffin knew he "would walk to the LA for the job and would NEVER be any kind of threat to the paranoid Kiffin. FACT
Hugs never spoke in meetings. Never rocked the boat. He was just happy to be there.
Hugs was a LOSER as a player and never thought of as a good assistant at every place his old man got him gigs.
The ONLY qualification Hugs has for anything is that he looks like a grownup , has nice manners , grew up learning coaching speak. THAT's Freaking IT.
He still has no idea what he's doing. He still doesn't know anyone to call and ask for help. All he really does is pick out what the half time snack will be.
USC OBVIOUSLY no longer gives a shit about football. It's all about donations from the libtard elite class of 9 and 10 figure people. What fans, alumni , small donations think or want means NOTHING.
IT's only when they can't get the big money for those luxury boxes that scarred the Coliseum that things will change.
I'm not holding my breath. sc

I said before this guy was hired and was actually being considered..."yes men always fail when they reach the top". They get no respect from their subordinates for being total ass kissers and quickly lose control of the ship.
Gomer is a perfect example of this. As we all predicted, this was a disaster hire.
Especially - ESPECIALLY - when the "real coaches" are a drunken loser and a weird border-line asperberger (no offense lexo) fvcker who's idea of a good coaching move is switching jerseys illegally. Oh, and deflating balls.
Look at these two fat slobs, Azzinaro, the guy in white looks like he ate something real greasy, it's all over his shirt.
