Oregon is two-pronged. Yes, very invested in playing the HS NIL recruiting game - to a point. But also working the transfer portal. Like most, our team isn't the team you see today without it.

But not nearly as invested as Texas or TAMU in paying top dollar for HS recruits. That's why we backed out of a few potential commitments like OT Brandon Baker.

I think NIL and the transfer portal will be modified by 2025, so what we are doing today in the wildwest of reccruiting might not have as much relevance.

No, I'm not. USC is using NIL to a limited degree. They are somewhere between stanford (penny pinching) and Oregon (we know how the slave driver rolls).

ANd back to your assertion about LenDale. FOUR YEARS OF NCAA INVESTIGATION, and they have to settle for a tennis player phone calls. they went after reggie, why not look at LenDale?
