Tonight I came down to Dana. Wife’s daughters had all their annoying friends to the other house and despite your twisted fantasies having 3-4 college girls around isn’t fun

So I go to Jersey mikes across from San Clemente’s new favorite place Whitestone. And the whole center is packed. Every dumb little restaurant. Unusual for winter. 6:30.

There are people. Like tourists jaywalking all over. It’s chaos. Many look like they’re coming from my neighborhood direction. There’s a hotel or kinda resort down the hill across from Jersey mikes and the marriot laguna suites behind it

The kid at the counter explained to me that these people have all been down here the last few days because of the fires. Lot of people from La who don’t like the air. A few people whose houses are in danger and who knows who else. Maybe some firefighters from out of state or families?

So yeah. Interesting you mention that. It’s more crowded than normal. Jackass next to me parked his rental 2 inches from my truck and I had to dukes of hazard my way in. I usually have half the lot to myself. I ran at strands and geez you’d think a concert was happening. Again. January 10? Unusual.

I’ve already pledged $10,000 to whoever wants to build the largest homeless shelter in the world in Pacific Palisades. They can have it in.The form of a check or cc. Either is fine by me. Every time I suggest it people get angry with me.

sc this is kinda funny. 5 or 6 years ago my wife and I were headed down to San Diego for a funeral and we passed a range rover (I remember you bragging about having same) with a paddle board on the roof and a disticnt personalized plate sc----. It was her car and she was driving so I said "slow down that has got to be san clemente, I gotta fuck with him". Unfortunately we were almost at the last San Clemente exit, you moved to the right and got off. We continued to the funeral. Did I have that right? Was that you?

LOL it may have been a long board. I guessed paddle board because he was coming South on 5. Probably from Dana point. If it was a surf board I figured he would be doing that at his house or San Onefre, in which case he would probably be coming North on 5.
