I wonder if Coach Lynn is kicking himself.

If he had just waiting, he would now be uAla's head coach today and have doubled his income.

I didn't think Lynn was qualified to be SC's D coordinator , which is why they brought in help.

But he is certainly more qualified to be uTla's head coach than Debong Foster.

And being SC's D coordintor with the linebacker coach continuing to teach him how to do his job is certainly more difficult a job than being a head coach.

All Foster has to do is hire three decent coordinators to run his team and be a politician that closes on recruiting.

Kelly knew that UCLA is doomed from its lack of alumni support, moderate facilities, no campus stadium, little student interest, decrepit NIL, over-hangin campus debt, dim-bulb AD, and over-all malaise of suckiness. Kelly could feel the doom creepingn in.

So did Captain Dow who left the Lusitannia Cruise Ship "kick himself"? Did he regret his decision not to sale the ship through a war zone following German warnings that the munitions-carrying "passenger ship"was a valid target?

Dow knew disaster was coming. Captain Dow knew like Kelly knew--both left.

Captain Dow of the Lusitannia, apparently suffering from stress from operating his ship in the war zone, left the ship; Cunard later explained that he was "tired and really ill." He was replaced with a new commander, Captain William Thomas Turner who was a Cunard foolish-loyalist insider like Deshaun Foster. Both Turner and Foster can ride their respective ships into disaster and down to Davey Jones Locker.

A group of German–Americans, hoping to avoid controversy if Lusitania were attacked by a U-boat, discussed their concerns with f the German Embassy. The embassy decided to warn passengers before her next crossing not to sail aboard Lusitania, and on 22 April placed a warning advertisement in 50 American newspapers, including those in New York:

NOTICE!TRAVELLERS intending to embark on the Atlantic voyage are reminded that a state of war exists between Germany and her allies and Great Britain and her allies; that the zone of war includes the waters adjacent to the British Isles; that, in accordance with formal notice given by the Imperial German Government, vessels flying the flag of Great Britain, or any of her allies, are liable to destruction in those waters and that travellers sailing in the war zone on the ships of Great Britain or her allies do so at their own risk.IMPERIAL GERMAN EMBASSYWashington, D.C. 22 April 1915

This warning was printed adjacent to an advertisement for Lusitania's return voyage. The warning led to some agitation in the press and worried the ship's passengers and crew. Smart ones like Dow and Kelly leave before the torpedoes hit.
