Then they have 17.

Of those 17, 10 of then are on Defense.

Of those 10, 7 of them would be 4 stars or better.

Interestingly, only 4 of them are 4 stars or better on Offense.

For a Defense that many blistered in 2022 and 2023 on the field and in the press. And for a team that in 2024 many people didn't want to acknowledge any D progress? Someone is clearly noticing. This is elite level recruiting when you get 7 4-5 stars in one class on one side of the ball.

11 of them are from California and a Utah kid grew up here and is "from" here. 12 if you count him coming home. just like the Hawaii kid "would" be from Hawaii but just left OC Lutheran So Cal kid

I see duce robinson mentioned here. Not to sound like see I told you so San someone else but

I spent two years pointing out he was too slow for wr. And his hands weren’t good enough. And he was too soft for te.

Last year was so bad I was livid they kept forcing him into games and forcing him and branch the ball. Got to thanks tin was screaming he and branch sucked. In the end neither of them were quality d1 starters. Neither could catch. And neither were physical enough to block or shed tackles.

Took all year but lane and lemon. The two guys I saw early on and was jumping up and down about. Finally got their due in the bowl. Had they been the guys all year usc would have won 2-3 more games and no one would be questioning CLr.

Of course had that not happened usc probably doesn’t get Bowden and the recruiting juggernaut does not happen. Trojans are still probably recruiting 3star running backs from broken arrow Oklahoma.

Looks like it's a big battle, Texas and USC for TE Mark Bowman, Mater Dei. Gotta get him. I think Texas leads?

Show me one site that lists his squat, bench press, dead lift, reps with 185 lbs, clean lift....those numbers exist for Lyons and nowhere are they for Bowman and 225 gets you by in HS but 225 is not the weight that a true college TE is expected to carry. Correction what I said was nowhere can you find any numbers for strength so until you can find some your superlatives aren't data. Do you get it now? Back again to his weight, you have no clue on what adding 20-25 pounds will do to his speed especially when USC already as a TE that goes over 240 that ran a 4.68 and another at 245 that ran a 4.78. Lets not forget those guys have been in the program and weight room for over a year....so again Bowman might be a nice to have but not a must get unless USC has some of their TE's leave. They have greater needs by the way Lyons dropped when he announced he was going on Mission for a year or two...you might also want to look at his tape on blocking during his HS games as he appears to bury folks when he sits in at TE and is not split out to catch the ball..

Never said that what I made clear is USC has greater needs and that he would be a nice to get but not a must have. Have you ever addressed the inaccuracies I pointed out to you in your arguments? Lastly and I'm done both players development and performance will depend on the coaches they go to work for and the style of the offense and how they use the TE's along with how injury free they can stay...and all of that is a crap shoot.

My prayers were answered. Wanted Tomu since his Soph year. Heck when he committed to Oregon, I kept praying. Last year as a Jr, he was unstoppable even when dbl teamed. He is top 3 all time CIF NT, Tomu is a monster NT. 4* rankings? Nah, he is a 5* DL (stupid R services). He will be All B1G and make AA, just like Mason Graham, Mich, Servite HS. Big Shaka and Big Kaboom for USC... Cheers.

PS. Another win and great job for GM Bowdena and his R staff. I've notice a trend with R service, they rarely and often do not give out 5* to Calif OL and DL. Stupid and dumb (freaken A). Many times our 4* are true 5* and deserve that elite rankings...

Thanxs Bruddah for all the updates. Tomu was a huge get and flip. Monster NT. I'm so happy GM Bowden flipped him. Dang, Bowden is a recruiting animal. He must have an A+ personality, cause the kids love him. He knows Calif has tons of talent and focusing on Cali top players. Unlike stupid C. LR and his previous staff. I predicted, boldly and maybe wishfully awhile ago, that USC would corner 10 of the top 150 players in the nation.

As of this moment, if Topui is in they would have 11 of the Top 200 and 8 of the Top 50. With Bowman and Redeaux hanging in the balance.
