I will digging out my Armani lounge wear and double breasted Valentino suits. LL Bean never stopped selling flannel shirts, so nothing special there for me.
I have a great chalkstip charcoal grey Valetinio suit that I break out for weddings now and again.
It will look great when I am throwing down double martinits as the doggies put 40+ points on the Big Blue
And yes I wear a tie with it, still.
Contrary to popular belief, except for West Hollyweird and the odd party on Long Island, loose cut padded Italian look is all 1990's. In my social circles, early to late 80's which was narrow lapels and ties rebelling against the excesses of the 1970s.
That's why I always keep a few time piece garments. Never know when they will come back. A couple of flannel shirts, silk travolta shirts and bell bottom pants, platform shoes . Oh yeah, hide your women.
Kept a few paisley ties, but those stay in the box. I refuse to wear a tie these days.

I was a big blue jeans & flannel shirt guy when I came to Seattle just out of highschool. Only Pendleton. 🙂
I STILL - some thirty years later - hold a grudge against grunge for killing the synth pop music that I grew up to. I never liked it.
